Parent Questions

Questions from Parents 💬

The questions every parent asks before booking — answered honestly.

Does my child need to know any Arabic before starting?

+
Not at all. Most of our students start with zero Arabic knowledge. Our beginner programme starts from the very first letter and uses games and songs to make the learning feel natural. We'll place your child at exactly the right starting point.

I don't speak Arabic — can I still support my child at home?

+
Absolutely. After each lesson the teacher sends a simple WhatsApp summary telling you what was covered and what to practise. All homework tasks are designed so non-Arabic-speaking parents can help easily — things like watching a short video together or using a flashcard app.

How do you handle shy or reluctant children?

+
This is one of our specialities. Our teachers use low-pressure techniques — starting with simple yes/no responses, then building up gradually. Games reduce the pressure of speaking because the focus is on playing, not performing. Most shy children open up within 3–4 sessions.

How often should my child attend lessons?

+
For ages 4–6 we recommend 1–2 lessons per week (30 minutes each). For ages 7 and above, 2 lessons per week gives the best results. If preparing for GCSE, 3 sessions per week in the final year is ideal. Our most popular plan is 2 × 60-minute lessons per week.

Is GCSE preparation included or is it a separate course?

+
GCSE preparation is a dedicated track within our Kids programme — same pricing, no extra charge. When your child reaches the right level, we transition them into GCSE-focused sessions covering all four skills with past papers and exam techniques. We cover AQA, Edexcel and OCR Arabic specifications.
